Using apple cider vinegar on the skin can cause irritation and burns. This is especially true if it’s not mixed well with water. People with stomach ulcers or acid reflux should be careful because the vinegar can make their symptoms worse.

Begin with just 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar a day and mix it with water. If you have diabetes, low potassium, or other health issues, talk to a doctor first. Severe reactions like nausea, throat burns, or skin irritation need immediate medical help.
